Winter season – Donna Bauer MLA opens first round

First Round

Donna Bauer, MLA for Carrum, opened the winter season by throwing the first pitch. Donna was welcomed by President, Les Pimm. We are very grateful for Donna’s support of our club.

We had a big day of baseball with four teams, A1 to A4 at home to the Frankston Tomatoes. Lyn was kept very busy in the canteen all day and we were pleased with the large number of Frankston players who stayed after the game for a drink and a chat – a great social start to the season.

On the field we had mixed results – A1, A2, B3 and U17 lost while A3, A4 and U13 won.

A big welcome to all our new players this season – we hope you soon feel part of the Bonbeach family.

Winter season starts next Saturday, April 21st 2012.

We have A1 to A4 playing at home against Frankston while B3 travel to Pakenham.

Last training night is this Thursday. Come down and let us know that you are definitely playing and find out what team you will be in. Lasagne is the meal for this week at only$5.

Last chance to pay your fees before the start of the season and get the cheapest rate – see Chris.

Saturday Training

There will be no training on Easter Saturday.

We will train the following Saturday, the last one before the season starts.

Training will continue as usual on Thursday nights.

BONBEACH BASEBALL CLUB

SENIOR TRAINING

WHERE: The Bonbeach Baseball Club

WHEN: Saturday 24 th March

TIME: 10am 12 noon

(Each Saturday pre-season training will be at this time. Thursday night training will start March 29^th – ongoing through the season with meals afterwards – as always!!)

Come down to get some swings in and meet up with new players, club members and team mates.
